Guidance: Mute and continue
Assignment: Today you must shoot shoes using your Sony A7III and your lens closest to 35mm. Use your device’s native ratio.
I was not quite sure what the guidance meant in this assignment. “Mute and continue”. Because I often enjoy shooting photos with faded colors, I chose to take the route of using muted colors as my interpretation.
Mute the colors and continue shooting.
My original thought was to shoot shoes as they laid out around the house…in the closets and in the entrance of our home. I quickly found that it didn’t always make for good composition. I was able to find some other shoes about the house and I repositioned other shoes. These are the results.
